LEVIES AND ASSESSMENTS

The Bois de Sioux Watershed District annually approves levies for the District's General Fund, Lake Traverse Water Management District Fund, and Ditch Funds. The Red River Watershed Management Board annually approves their levy (half of this levy is retained by Bois de Sioux Watershed District and applied to the District's Construction Fund Projects). Public Meetings, HEARING & NOTICES

Bois de Sioux Board Meetings: The Bois de Sioux Watershed District Board of Managers meets regularly on the third Thursday of each month, generally for a half of a day starting at 8:00 a.m. April through October and at 9:00 a.m. November through March, in the District conference room (unless otherwise stated on the meeting agenda). The public is welcome to attend!

Notice of Public Hearing - Redpath Phase 2B: The Board of Managers of the Bois de Sioux Watershed District, will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. on February 19, 2026, at the District’s Office located at 704 Highway 75 South, Wheaton, MN 56296.  The purpose of the hearing is to review the engineer’s report to the Bois de Sioux Watershed District authority pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 103E.555 showing that the contract to construct the Redpath Impoundment Project Phase 2B is complete. The engineer’s report has been filed with the watershed authority and is available for public inspection. Any party objecting to the acceptance of the contract may appear at the hearing and be heard. Written comments will be accepted at the hearing and by mail through the date of the hearing at the District’s Office.

Notice of Public Hearing - TCD #15: On Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 9:00 am, the Bois de Sioux Watershed will hold a public hearing at the Bois de Sioux Watershed District Office, 704 Hwy 75 in Wheaton, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following petitions requesting authority to use Traverse County Ditch #15 as an outlet for LeAnn Peyton: Parcel #03-0045000, SW1/4, 80 acres of Section 9, Range 46, Croke Township (126), Traverse County.

Notice of Public Hearing - GCD #32: On Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 9:00 am, the Bois de Sioux Watershed will hold a public hearing at the Bois de Sioux Watershed District Office, 704 Hwy 75 in Wheaton, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following petition requesting authority to use Grant County Ditch #32 as an outlet for Michael Bartell: Parcel #09-0143-500, Portion of SW1/4, 54.54 Acres of Section 32, Range 44, Logan Township (127), Grant County.
